Our highly skilled, widely experienced team believe in partnering your vision with our own. As a hard-working collective which is spearheaded by the expertise of Peter Leahy in Tatura and Michael McCarrey in our Shepparton office can work alongside you from inception to completion or if necessary simply step in at various adjuncts to offer specialist advice.

With the support of 26 technical and administrative staff at Tatura and Shepparton as well as 9 servicing the licensed surveying office in Echuca, under Brian Harland and Mark Langenbacher, Planright has the normal resource capacity of 35 people.

PETER LEAHY

MANAGING DIRECTOR

You'll be hardpressed to find anyone in the district with more experience in the water industry than Peter Leahy. Since starting up his own consulting service almost 30 years ago, Peter has notched up some 3,000 clients. Using his nine year role at the former Rural Water Commission as a launching pad, Peter navigated the planning field with great aplomb becoming an unparalleled expert in irrigation layout, groundwater, re-use water, design of farm plans, community drains and cost estimating.

His key areas of knowledge include irrigation and drainage which emphasise design, implementation and operation of works at farm and district level, business management and development and quality systems.

 

MICHAEL MCCARREY

CIVIL ENGINEERING DESIGN MANAGER / DIRECTOR

Michael is responsible for ensuring professional project execution resulting in quality designs to meet client requirements. Michael has 15 years experience covering the full spectrum of civil projects and provision of client services in urban developments. His experience includes design and drafting, construction management and planning and coordination of projects such as roads, drainage, sewer and water supply, at both hands on and senior level.

 

 

 

BRENDON BOYD

IRRIGATION DESIGN MANAGER / DIRECTOR

Brendon has been with Planright since 1994 and has shown expertise in many roles. He has undertaken many whole farm plans, and farm infrastructure designs in his role as Irrigation Designer and has also undertaken the role of Construction Manager to see many of his projects come to fruition. He is responsible for tenders and pricing on behalf of developers, and works closely with other members of staff to ensure that the design meets the client needs, and the task is completed in a timely cost-efficient manner.
